IBM unveils new Intranet Experience Suite

The new software brings together the power of social networking, analytics and mobile computing to front office operations and externally to clients

IBM has introduced its Intranet Experience Suite, a new software to help CMOs and CIOs to offer enhanced digital content to employees and customers across a broad range of mobile devices.

The software integrates company information and data, personalised content, news and social media and analytics, enabling employees to connect, collaborate and access information at anytime, from any location.

IBM said the new software brings together the power of social networking, analytics and mobile computing to front office operations and externally to clients, allowing companies to create enhanced web experiences.

It also helps business leaders extend their corporate intranet to a broad range of mobile devices to improve employee collaboration and information sharing, the company said.

The company added the new Intranet Experience software brings social and analytics capabilities to CIOs and business employees, helping organisations evolve their internal operations and communications.

IBM has also announced the completion of a digital transformation of the Wimbledon tennis tournament website, with the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

The transformation will allow tennis fans to access the new Wimbledon website thourgh variety of devices including the iPhone, iPad, Android and other tablets as well as share information, interact with and connect matches in real-time.

The website also integrates with a new online TV channel, Live Wimbledon, alongside IBM’s real time match analysis tool, SlamTracker, bringing an enhanced digital experience to consumers.

IBM is also delivering a new Customer Experience Suite that helps marketing professionals to manage and integrate all types of data on their web sites and then analyse it for deeper insight into customer buying patterns.

The customer experience software suite pulls together IBM’s enterprise portal, web content management, forms and enterprise social networking software into a single view.
